In September, The Beachwaver Co. launched our new college ambassador program Campus Wave! Each month, campus reps get a box full of Beachwaver goodies to help spread the word about The Beachwaver Co. on their campuses!
Below, meet Kylie Fleming, who is studying Human Resource Management at College of Lake County!
What is your favorite part of being a member of Beachwaver’s Campus Wave?
I love being able to show my friends and family how I use the Beachwaver Co. products and show them how much time they can save by using the Beachwaver.
What do you expect to be doing 10 years from now?
In 10 years, I hope to be a Human Resource Manager doing what I love!
What is an obstacle you’ve faced, and how did you get through it?
Deciding to go to a community college was a very difficult decision for me. I always thought I would go to a four-year university like a lot of other people, but I didn’t. Going to CLC was what worked best for me and if I could go back, I don’t think I would change it. I have made life-long friendships, was able to stay close to my family, and had some of the best job opportunities I could ask for. As I get ready to look into a school to finish my Bachelor’s degree I will always be thankful for everything I learned while at CLC.
What is your life motto?
My life motto is that there is always more. The motto reminds me that no matter what I do, there is always more I can do or give along with the fact that there is always more to life than you think.
How do you define success?
I look at this question and think of the famous saying, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” – Mark Anthony
What’s the craziest hair trend you ever rocked?
I tend to stay pretty safe with anything I decide to do with my hair, but when I was 10 years old, I decided I no longer wanted my bangs… so I cut them off myself! On the bright side, I must have done a pretty good job because it took my mom two days to notice!
